This here is upon our arrival to Morocco.  We were waiting for our Taxi to pull around (we had the hostel book a taxi for us, to pick us up at the airport with a sign--which he did, with my name!!!--and take us directly to our hostel).  We have the Moroccan flag, Josh, Jordan, Ellyn, Noelle, and Aaron.  A little bit tired after our sketch hour long flight over to Tangier.

This is outside our door to our room.  That is glass that looks down for 3 stories.  It's amazing.  The boys slept upstairs and they could look in on our floor.  Most gorgeous place i have ever stayed! and for 20 Euro for the night.  A steal of a deal Is what I would say!
This is our pent house that had a 360 degree view of the city... not that there was much to see but run down tops of houses, but we could see the beach and the whole city nonetheless.  It was spectacular.  There were benches on every side of the room with throw pillows.  So fun, a perfect spot to play some serious games of Phase 10.
Here is Aaron look down on our floor from his room.  Just to the right is where we were served a delicious breakfast (also included).

Noelle, Josh, me, Aaron, and Ellyn in the main upper plaza.  It was super busy and full of excitement.

The Mediterranean Sea.  Yeah.  I saw it! This was a boy that kept coming up to us asking for money for a ball.  Watch your money.  The kids are the sneakiest ones around.  But we just chatted up with him in Spanish because he too was also learning the beautiful language.  Yeah BUDDY!

This is one of the temples that makes annoying noises when it's time to pray.  They go forever! But it was so cool hearing it and seeing it.
Up here is the view right after sunset of the beautiful city of Tangier.  I loved it.  I have never felt so different and out of place in my life.  It was a great learning experience of how other people live on the other side of the world.  It made me appreciate what I have but also made me want to learn more about people.  I want to learn how people live their lives and why.  It was so interesting and I cannot wait to be such an outcast once again.  :)

We took the ferry from Morocco back to Spain across the Mediterranean Sea.  Such a fun 45 minutes of my life.  However, I did get a bit tossed around because these boats are not that big and all the waves from all the other boats passing definitely makes the voyage a bit choppy.

We spent the rest of the day in Algeciras and wandered around the Park, shops, restaurants, and the board walk.  Here is the Plaza Alta at night.  This is a library riht next to closed down book stores.  They have these in many plazas here and I really need to buy a book in Spanish before I leave.

 MONKEY ISLAND!!!
All it is is one big rock.  Right here we are crossing the airport landing that they have here and then it's just a small little town.  On the left side of the island there is a beach, kind of small, but still a beach and on the right and the rest of the island is where the monkeys and people live.  Almost the same thing.
All we did all day was hike and climb stairs.  We didn't want to pay for a taxi because we're poor college students who need exercise from all that we eat.  This was at the beginning of the day when everyone was still smiling and energetic.  ha ha

My first monkey friend.  It took about 20-30 minutes to find him. It was so fun! Little did I know how crazy monkeys can actually be.  It's hard to forget they're wild animals even after they are so well trained that here is where you will get fed by tourists.  Shhhh don't tell!

So Let's just say I was a little bit excited that a monkey was climbing on my back!!! It jumped from the bus on to me just because he saw a pistacchio in the hand of the tour bus! It was so awesome!!!

I couldn't resist taking our picture together... we are best friends and every friend has a picture like this.  Sooo... yeah. :)
647 Steps Dominated! Our boodies were a little bit sore... I burnt a few calories... and Lost a few of those pounds that I have put on from  all this deep fried food! mmm... Spain is GREAT!
Me and the monkeys are best friends! He was just being cradled in my arms.  NBD! It was so awesome!!! Never have I felt the love of a monkey so much!

Some caves on the top of the mountain.  There are like 5 attractions at the top of the rock and for 14 Euro we got to go inside all of them.  It was super great! These were such tall stalagtites... or mites... I don't know the difference! So impressive! and Amazing! They had seats all set out looking as if they played concerts in the center of the cave! Let's just say acoustics are amazing inside of here!
